Getting here
By car: There is a pay-and-display car park opposite the shop in the centre of Bowness and many other parking spaces are available nearby. In busy periods, try parking away from the lake towards Windermere.
By public transport: Windermere railway station is about a mile away and is a 20 minute walk from the shop. There are frequent bus services from the railway station and other areas across the North West. Have a look at the Cumbria public transport map (5.8Mb) or visit Traveline to plan your journey.
